Tayyip Erdogan says India is a Great trade partner - Subsequent to G20 summit
India’s Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi and TayyipErdogan, Turkish President discussed on Sunday the potential for the mutual collaboration in the investment, trade, defence as well as security at the bilateral meeting on margins during G20 Summit.
Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan discussed on Sunday about potential for the bilateral cooperation in trade, defence, investment as well as security at the bilateral meeting on margins related to the G20 Summit.
Here, Erdogan also described India being the greatest trading partner of Turkey in South Asia. Though addressing the media post this meeting. Here, we had a wonderful potential to simply deepen the partnership in the economic sphere and different sectors.

The key two leaders were also much focused on potential for making cooperation in trade, defence, investment, security, shipping, civil aviation as well as the ministry of external affairs as mentioned in the statement.
However, Erdogan also congratulated Modi on G20 presidency of the country and also thanked India for quick and the prompt relief which is provided under the Operation Dost Subsequent to the earthquake struck in Turkey in the month of February. India also rushed an emergency set of relief supplies as well as medical teams and rescue teams for Turkey in just hours of the earthquake.
He even congratulated Narendra Modi for the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission to moon which conveyed great and best wishes for Aditya mission to sun, as said by external affairs ministry.

Answering the question at a news conference, PM Erdogan mentioned that Turkey will be very proud if India becomes a key and permanent member of the Council of United Nations Security. He also said that all the other non-P5 members must even get an opportunity of becoming the members of the Security Council through the rotation.
Here, referring to P5 or the five permanent members which are booked at the Security Council – such as China, Russia, France, the USA and UK, Erdogan mentioned that “the world is large than five”.
While on the other hand, the Security Council is now including five permanent members as well as 10 non-permanent members which are drawn from the different set of regions. Here, Erdogan also proposed the set of mechanism where all 195 member of the countries may become the member of UN’s best decision-making. He also added that what should the 5 UN members must not identify the voice to entire world.
